What’s wrong with this country? It’s not just the Democrats. It is both parties. It just so happens that the Democrats are in power and have been in power even under George Bush.
When Bush first cam into office he inherited a recession from Clinton. I did not hear him constantly saying that he inherited it. Obama keep saying this and using the excuse of Bush for his failures.
Look it was inevitable. The man got elected because people wanted to make history. He did not get elected because he was the he is qualified. That is a proven fact over the past 6 plus months and what is happening to this once great country.
Let’s look at the facts:
All during the campaign Obama and Biden screamed that we are in the worst economy since the great depression. For a second time on a Sunday news show Biden said: "The truth is, we and everyone else misread the economy," Mr. Biden no one but you and Obama misread the economy. Obama and Biden were the people who during the campaign kept hammering home we are in the worst economy since the depression. So after spending trillions of dollars you now decide that you underestimated how bad the economy is?
Why not blame Bush for this one too?
Obama is on a spending spree like no other president in our entire history. We are further in debt than ever before. He created the largest deficit than any other president in our history and not a single state run media outlet is calling him on that.
What is the fascination with Obama? This man keeps on spending like a drunken sailor!
These are just some of the plans: (1) his 10-year, $150 billion program to "establish a green energy sector," (2) his 10-year, $60 billion "National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank," (3) his nearly universal health care plan (whose annual price tag he low-balls at $50 to $65 billion) and (4) a host of refundable tax credits ranging from $4,000 per year for college students to a tripling of the Earned Income Tax Credit for minimum-wage workers, Mr. Obama plans to (1) end the war in Iraq, (2) permit the Bush tax cuts to expire for households earning more than $250,000 and (3) "change our tax code," which "has been rigged by lobbyists with page after page of loopholes that benefit big corporations and the wealthiest few." Even his fans like Colin Powel are not too happy.
Colin Powell, expressed concern Friday that the president's ambitious blitz of costly initiatives may be enlarging the size of government and the federal debt too much.
"I'm concerned at the number of programs that are being presented, the bills associated with these programs and the additional government that will be needed to execute them," Mr. Powell said in an excerpt of an interview with CNN's John King, released by the network Friday morning.
Now with this so-called Cap and trade that was passed by the house with the support of the president has plans to cut C02. The problem is that it will cost every American household between 3,000-4,500 per year. The other problem is with this bogus idea of global warming. From New York to Arizona we have had the wettest and coldest June since 1958. I cannot stand the idea that people like Al Gore think he is bigger than God who controls what will last and what will not. I know we need to be responsible and take care of the land but not with the governments taxing everything made.
The policies of this administration will end up destroying the United States. The Democrats that have been in control since Bush was President are destroying this country. Obama has no experience on finances, foreign policy and certainly in leading a country. A community group maybe but not a country.
He has weakened us. Countries like North Korea and Iran spit in our faces. We are turning into a socialist country that will ultimately destroy us.
Here are some facts of why the Roam Empire failed. The sad part is that the United States is on the same course. Obama is facilitating in most of these downfalls. I replace the Roman Empire and some names for easy reading. This is history with facts. You can see the comparisons to the United States of today.
The United States (Roman Empire) was strong for a time. It was founded on geography, family values, military strength, and wise leadership. It flourished because of social, economic, political, military and religious strengths. However, when the very things that make a civilization flourish start to decline, the civilization will also lead to a downfall.
The first reason for the fall was economic decay. The rulers of United States (Rome) had expensive lifestyles. To aid their image, they needed money. They gained money through taxation on the poor. In response to the torment of tax collectors, the poor fled to barbaric lands. The poor made up a large percentage of the Roman population. Barbarians disrupted trade on the Mediterranean sea. Rome's gold and silver were being drained into buying luxuries from China, India, and Arabia. The government decreased the silver content in money. The value of the money also decreased. Diocletion attempted to curb the inflation. He issued an edict that fixed maximum prices and wages throughout the Empire. It was an unrealistic and unenforceable idea which failed. The emperors still felt the tax issue needed to be addressed. They decided to make the hereditary class of tax collectors pay the difference. In other words, if a poor person could not pay their full share, the tax collector paid the rest. This concept wiped out a whole class of moderately wealthy people.
Another reason for the fall of Rome was political issues. Citizens no longer displayed patriotism, they were indifferent (sound familiar). Only the rich ran for office. Only the rich could run for office. It had become too expensive to hold office.
The third and final reason for the decline of Rome was religion. Rome religion deteriorated because of conflicts between Christianity and Pagan gods. Constantine recognized Christianity as a religion. Because of him Christians wouldn't suffer persecutions for their beliefs. Rather ironically, later Christians would persecute Pagans. Nevertheless Pagans were afraid. They thought Roman gods would leave because of the Christians. For example, their environment could go into ruin. The Pagans killed Christians. After a time, both sides realized the other wasn't trying to overthrow them. Constantine legalized Christianity. Later Theodosius made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. The army didn't like Christ. Romans didn't like Christians saying that they protected Rome through prayer. Some soldiers gave up
So as you can see the United States is on the same path as the Roman Empire. They started put strong like the United States. Their political powers became corrupt which is what we have here as well. They cast our Christianity as we are doing in the United States.
Obama is not all to blame for the downfall of the United States. He is just another one that is meant to be in office to help facilitate in the destruction of the United States.
With his policies or lack of policies and his denouncing that the United States is not a Christian nation he will continue to create policy that will quickly lead to the destruction of this once great land.
In conclusion, the Roman Empire declined based upon the same factors that had caused it to flourish. It fell because the social, economic, political, military, and religion strengths were no longer viable.
As the saying goes those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it .We are on our way to following in the footsteps of a once great and old empire.

Luigi rants on where the country will go under President Obama

I thought about this election and writing a eulogy. But then I said, although I firmly believe that with Obama’s election our country will go down hill fast, I wanted to see how could this happen?

What caused a win for who was clearly the least experienced candidate?

There were a lot of issues that lead to this. Some by fate others by circumstance. Fate being that this great land is not supposed to last forever and maybe this is just the beginning of the end for the United States.

Other issues are race and youth. When people were talking about Obama being an African American and people not voting for him because of his color it was actually the other way around. People voted for him because of his color. First off all there is never enough credit given to the American people. Yes there are racists in the country and plenty of them. But there are also people like myself who could care less about someone’s color but care about what they represent.

As with most elections people vote on what they think will help them the most. This election was a little different. Obama ran on change for America. The youth loved the message. After all they went or go to colleges where liberal professors teach them about the evil America while collecting paychecks from the taxes of hard working people. The kids are young, not really in a career yet so they have no idea how much they are already paying in taxes or what the really important issues are. The youth voted for change, without really understanding what Obama’s plan is. They were caught up in the history making election of an African American. First off Obama is only 50% black and 50% white. Secondly why do we make such a big deal in this country about a persons color or gender? Shouldn’t the qualifications be looked at when electing someone? Martin Luther King died for the rights of the blacks. Even he would not be thrilled with the fact that someone gets elected because of his color not because of his qualifications.

In this case it was clear Obama won not because he was better qualified but because people where more interested is making history rather than the right decision.

Reading the blogs out there I ran across some interesting ones. This one was from MTV a younger group who feels the same way.

“The only reason he was elected is because there are a bunch of uninformed voters. I can personally say that I have talked to at least 50 people at my college who said they were voting for Obama, and all of them could not name me 3 of his political views!!!!!!! Now I'm sure that this is true all over the country, and that is why not everyone should be able to vote. I don’t know how to fix it but uninformed voters should not be able to vote because they are always going to vote based on how the candidate looks, talks, and by the color of his skin. We don't need a president who was voted in because of his physical characteristics we need one that can fix the country when needed and run the country when everything is good. This election reminds me a lot of High school student council, a popularity contest. If you were good looking and people like you got in, or if you were on the football team, you were voted for. Americans need to step it up and make sure that they are informed before they vote! But I am open minded, and am interested in seeing what our new president will accomplish.”

To back up that point even further I think it was Howard Stern who sent a guy out on the streets of Harlem and asked who people were voting for.

The majority said Obama and that is fine. The follow up questions were the ones that really bothered me. He then asked what they thought of Sarah Palin as Obama’s running mate. The majority said she was a great choice. The next question was even better. The guy ran through the positions and again the majority said they agreed with Obama's plans. The only problem was that the positions the guy told them were all John McCain’s. Why were these people voting? Not based on issues. They didn’t even have a clue of what Obama stands for.

As voters we all are suppose to look at what can better the country. In most cases it comes down to selfishness and what will be better for me.

But listening to Obama there was nothing that impressed me other than his ability as a great speaker. But we must also remember that Hitler was a great speaker as well and look at how that ended up.

The bottom line here is that Obama will be our new president. My hope is that he will do a good job and help this country. Do I think he will? Not at all.

Until he is sworn in he will say all the right things to make it seem that he can appeal to both parties. He will tell us that he will reach out to all Americans to improve our country. Once sworn in he will do as he wants. He is the most liberal Senator in our history. Anyone who thinks that will suddenly change when he is sworn is fooling themselves. But we should still be respectful and can disagree without resorting to the name calling that the Democrats have been doing for the past 8 years.

Here are my predictions that I hope and pray I am totally wrong.

We will have a huge crisis whether it is here or somewhere else. Obama will weaken our military and that will weaken this country making us venerable to attacks.

Our courts will have Liberal judges appointed and most of the laws that have kept us safe and free from attacks over the past 8 years will be overturned.

Socialism will prevail. The government will get more involved in businesses as well as socialize health care.

They will not allow for more drilling in this country and prices will go back up for gas.

Change will come but it will not be what they thought how could it be?

What the geniuses forgot who voted for “change” is that we still have the same Democratic liberal controlled Congress and Senate which has a lower approval rating than the President they wanted out of office.

To sum it up the state of this country and the direction it is headed I will quote Winston Churchill when he said. “If you’re under 40 and a liberal you have no heart if you are over 40 and a liberal you have no brain.”

God help America.

Well after what seemed to be a lifetime the election is finally here. In a few days true American’s will go to cast their votes for President of the United States.

The question is who will win?

Can America get it right? I doubt it. We all know that many states like New Jersey will vote for a Democrat. Heck the guy or woman could be dead and they will vote for a Democrat. I don’t know why either? I know years ago Christie Whitman was our Governor for two terms other than that Democrat’s seem to rule no matter how bad they are. In fact Corzine if he runs again I am sure will win despite (in my opinion) being one of the worst Governors this state has seen.

Now many New Jerseyans will cast the vote for who they deem to be the savior of the world: Barack Hussein Obama - the best thing since sliced bread.

As I have been saying since the start of the election people are ignorant and unless something drastic happens I will be proven correct once again.

Many people do not read the facts. I am not talking about the garbage that floats online but the hard facts about this guy.

Now more than ever after this Joe the Plumber issue people should see what Obama is all about: redistributing the wealth of people who work hard and giving it to others who do not.

In fact in a poll of Joe the plumber (yes there was an actual poll) people that earned fewer than 40K per year did not like this guy and agreed with Obama’s idea of redistributing the wealth. Is that a surprise? Of course people that make less than someone else or at least lazy people who make less then others, want a share of the money given to them.

In his own words Obama talked about socialism. Is this what people really want? They want to end up like Europe and other countries where the incentive to work hard is suppressed by letting the Government provide for you?

I see that the Obama team was really going hard at Joe the Plumber trying to destroy him and his job.

The man asked a simple good question based on what Obama said he would do. Raise taxes on people who earn 250K or more. (This is really not true at all since he will raise taxes on most people once he allows the Bush tax cuts to expire). Joe asked what it would mean for him since he figures if he buys this company and hires more people his income would go past 250K. Obama answered him by saying yes your taxes will go up and I will take that money and give to people behind you which is fair according to Obama.

Since then Obama and Biden have made fun of Joe in their speeches. Here is what they said. SEN. BARACK OBAMA (D-IL), PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE: He's trying to suggest that a plumber is the guy he's fighting for. How many plumbers do you know making a quarter million dollars a year?

SEN. JOE BIDEN (D-DE), VICE-PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE: John continues to cling to the notion, the fact that this guy, Joe the plumber. I don't know how many Joe the plumbers in my neighborhood that make $250,000 a year.

They are attacking him with stories like he is not licensed and hurts all plumbers that are. These are people who like to suppress others and make fun of the working class people who do not want to better themselves and their families.

Are many voters that far out of touch? Yes they are. Instead of saying that is great if a plumber can make 250k per year it shows that anyone can earn money if they work hard they say no you can’t make 250K as a plumber that is why you need the government.

This is socialism at its best and many so called intelligent people do not care.

Last week in what they feel is an apparent victory Joe Biden is talking about how when Obama is President he guarantees that other countries will test him so we need to be prepared. What? I though the savior was going to bring world peace because everyone hates Bush and he destroyed our relationships with other countries?

Nope. It is just what I have been saying all along. The terrorists who support Obama are the same ones that will attack to see what he is made of. They are afraid of McCain that’s why they are not supporting him. But people do not see this. They are blinded by a cult like feeling that Obama will save us all. I hear people saying that Obama is smarter than McCain. He is a Harvard graduate. Having an education doesn't make on smarter. Common sense and good judgment are more important than a good education. Much more damage to this country can be done with Obama, Pelosi and Reid in charge than any other time in our history even worse than under Bush.
Here are some of the questions that so called intelligent Obama supporters should ask that really make a difference rather than just who is better educated! No one in the media drilled Obama on the items below that are all about him but if it were about McCain you would have never heard the end of it.

What if it was McCain who was involved with the terrorists?

What if it was McCain who was involved with voter fraud and donated 800K to the cause?

What if it was McCain who said he went to a church for 20 years with a anti American hate preacher pastor?

What if it was McCain who was only 1/2 black and uses that as the advantage?

What if it was McCain who says he is for change and then chooses a VP who is part of the old system?

What if it was McCain who said he wanted to Spread the Wealth?

What if it was McCain who was endorsed by the head of Hamas?

What if it was McCain who had a financial advisor on his staff who was from Freddie Mac?

What if Jesse Jackson’s said this about a McCain victory The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.?

What if the Wall Street Journal said this about McCain “The Wall Street Journal warns that if Dems get BHO in the White House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, we will enter "a period of unchecked left-wing ascendancy."

What if this was said about McCain? Supreme Minister of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, declared Barack Obama to be a messiah?

This man (Obama) is not only scary but can ruin this country forever. I can’t see why people can't just read the truth about him. When I ask any Obama supporter to name one thing Obama has done they can't. All they talk about is Palin who has more experience than Obama. Any Governor of any state has more experience.

My Democratic friends never have a logical answer on any topic, my one friend says he can’t vote for Tina Fey another says Bush destroyed us. No Democrat I know can give and educated answer on why they are voting for Obama. Only name calling and hatred to others.

I can’t figure out why people can’t see how fake this guy is .He cannot speak on his own without it written for him. He is a real empty suit who claims to want change but I can guarantee you will have more people in his administration from the past presidents than anyone in history.

Unfortunately there is not much we can do about it but vote and let fate take it course. The general population is not that smart to really do research on a candidate only vote by what they hear. Democrats especially cannot back up their candidate on issues they can only blame Bush as they have done for the past 8 years forgetting that before their team took control of the house and senate 2 years ago. If you recall we were not in the financial mess we are in now until the Democrats took over.

The most important thing to do is go vote even if it is for Obama. If he wins all I can do is pray for this country. I know that won’t bother the Democrats as they are the ones who keep pushing God out of this country and think they can run ( or ruin it) it on their own.

“Proud to be an American” That is something you will never hear from a Liberal.

I watch old news clips and movies and it shows how people really were proud of this great country. They took pride in working hard unlike today where many Union people do only what they have to do. They respected the American way back then.

Back in 1776 with the American Revolution they fought for what they thought was right. Freedom for people and the ability for people to govern themselves was and is the American way. Or at least it was till this year.

If those brave people did not go to war for our freedom none of us would be here today.

People forget - especially Liberals.

I went to see the movie American Carole. Most people may not have heard about this movie and it is understandable.

The movie is showing the greatness of this country and the highlights the ridiculous things that are going on now.

Because it is a more conservative movie the media never gave it a chance. I mean God forbid they write a good review about a movie that shows America to be good.

The movie is a comedy with stars like Trace Adkins as the Angel of Death, Kevin P. Farley as Michael Malone, Kelsey Grammer as General George S. Patton, Dennis Hopper as The Judge, Jon Voight as George Washington. Leslie Nielsen as Himself and James Woods. The movie, directed by Airplane! writer-director David Zucker takes aim at liberalism in the United States, seeking to reform a Michael Moore-inspired filmmaker played by Kevin Farley, who wants to abolish the Fourth of July holiday.

The premise may sound far fetched but it is not really that far off. The man they were spoofing as the person who hated America was supposed to be Michael Moore.

It showed the ignorance of the left and what they think about America.

It took on the professors in colleges who teach that America is evil and bad to the ridiculous idea (that Moore references in his documentary) that Cuba has better health care than the United States.

It was a spoof of A Christmas Carole where it shows the Michael character that America is really good.

It took on terrorists and exaggerated the fact that we can’t profile people based on the fact they are or look Muslim. It went into the loony bins over at the ACLU and how they want to protect terrorist’s rights over our own.

I think one of the funniest parts was when they went back in time to when Neville Chamberlain met with Hilter hoping that talking to terrorists would avoid war… we all see how that worked out.

It also went to the future showing how we met with the current terrorists and signed a peace agreement then shows how America turned into a Muslim country with stores like Victoria’s Burka’s. It’s really funny stuff and you must see either in the movies or on DVD when it comes out.

The whole point of the movie was to show how many Americans have lost sight of what we are and how we operate. We have so many people that come to this country still looking for a better life but regard it as a right to be here not a privilege. People come from other countries and expect us to adhere to their ways of life in stead of the other way around.

In fact there was an article in the USA Today talking about how the Census info is getting harder to get. They showed a photo of a Mexican man who owns an auto repair shop in Delaware and quoted him as saying that he would refuse to fill out the Census form unless it was in Spanish.

These are the reasons why this country is going down hill faster than a bob-sled at the Olympics.

It is people like Obama who do not like this country the way it is. It is people like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid who hate the American system. It is people like Obamas wife who was never proud to be and American until her husband decided to run for president.

Obama stands for the exact opposite of what this country is about. He wants the government to run our lives. He wants to talk with terrorists and be peaceful. He wants to take from people that make an honest living and give it to people that don’t deserve it and may not work as hard.

Last week Obama let the secret out after he was caught on video telling an Ohio plumber that he intends to take the profits of small-business owners and "spread the wealth around" to those with lesser incomes.

The issue over Obama's tax plan broke out last Sunday outside Toledo when Joe Wurzelbacher approached the candidate. Wurzelbacher said he planned to become the owner of a small plumbing business that will take in more than the $250,000 amount at which Obama plans to begin raising tax rates. "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?" the blue-collar worker asked. After Obama responded that it would, Wurzelbacher continued: "I've worked hard . . . I work 10 to 12 hours a day and I'm buying this company and I'm going to continue working that way. I'm getting taxed more and more while fulfilling the American Dream." "It's not that I want to punish your success," Obama told him. "I want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success, too.” Then, Obama explained his trickle-up theory of economics. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." Obama let the cat out of the bag.

When you have known terrorists from Hamas endorsing Obama over McCain it is a sign of what is to come if this guy is elected. We need someone in office who will not talk to terrorists unconditionally. We need a leader who will not worry what polls are saying or what countries don’t like us. Some to just do what is right for our safety and what will keep us the greatest nation on earth. We need Americans to be proud and fly those flags and still get goose bumps as I do when I hear our national anthem. We need a leader will let the government step aside and let the people and free markets go to work for us. Not a socialist as I see in Obama and his gang.

People will vote in a couple of weeks and make a choice. Vote for Obama a radical who will give more rights to the terrorists and further the deterioration of this great country.

I am not sure if it is John McCain but it is DEFINITLEY not Obama
